About Linda Hasking
Linda Hasking is a fine art printmaker whose practice includes use of digital technology and traditional printmaking techniques. These are drawn together to make very contemporary interpretations of domestic objects that look at the things we are surrounded by and confront our ideas of what makes an ideal home.
Several strands of work are shown in the rooms of this site. Here you can see wall-works, wallpaper, commissioned work and artist's books. Much of this work is available for sale or exhibition. Please enquire if you are interested in these options.
Linda graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2005. Her work is held in private collections in the UK, mainland Europe and USA and in the permanent collection of The University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol. She has worked on two public art projects resulting in a vertical installation of prints sited in the foyer of the Student Services Building of Southampton University and a huge digital mural in the foyer of Everest Community College in Hampshire. This was commissioned by arts organisation, The Making. Linda has, for many years, collaborated with individuals, designers and architects in realising their objectives, first as designer and now as artist.
